Crazy Weekend Sale

I might be the happiest creature whenever my favorite shops go on sale. Since July 7, all Makati malls went on sale, in celebration of the city’s 341st year. Just imagine the traffic when all shopaholics unite in Greenbelt, Glorietta, SM Makati and Powerplant.

Picture from Wild About Retail

And last weekend, SM malls went wild with their sale as well. It was calling me, for heaven’s sake. I resisted…for an hour (haha!). But I went around just for 2 hours (*promise*).

Here’s a sneak of the outlets:

TOPSHOP and TOPMAN

Not everything was on sale. A corner was devoted for items with slashed prices: 30 to 70% off.

If you’re into shoes, now is the best time to grab the pair you’ve been eyeing from Aldo. 50% off on a wide selection.

WAREHOUSE

Hmmm…expensive clothes are sold here. Even if it’s 50% off the tag, it’s still pricey, hehehe.

SINEQUANONE

Nice formal and office clothes on sale. Go!

Good buy, if your size is medium to large. Small sizes are out of stock already. Plenty of floral-printed dresses (I love!).

This is every shopaholics haven. All items, as in all items on sale!!! Okay, I’m shrieking (*gasp*).

I tried on this trousers. Now at 690p (original price 2,450p).

Nice fit. Promise.

An xs salmon dress at 1,590p (original price 3,250p).

Armhole way too big for me.

Another Spanish brand that I like. Mega sale!

This green knitted top is very nice. Perfect for my so so cold office. Now at 595p, from 995p.

I will stand out in a crowd in a shade like this.

I love turtlenecks! And I like anything brown. This top is now 495p, originally 795p.

Perfect!

Unfortunately, red is not my color. I'm too skinny in this top. Now at 495p, from 995p.

This will be perfect for office, match it with black slacks.

The fabric of this top is so smooth and soft. But then again, I'm way too skinny for this. Also at 495p.

And this top is nice. You just need to wear something under it. It's too sheer.

Shopping is really a good exercise. I got hungry after trying on so many clothes! So off to Sbarro...but my gulay, OA ang pila.

And then this caught my eye:

Muji will soon open a store in Mall of Asia! Hello anything Japanese!

Muji will be very close to my home now. Muji's other stores are located in Powerplant and Global Bonifacio City.

***********

Grand Makati Sale is until July 31. Catch the fever, go shopping! Now's the best time to buy from your favorite stores.

Happy shopping everyone!

Weekend Foodies

Weekend is a time to binge. Eat whatever you want. Forget calorie counting. Hoard a one week supply of anything sinful. Don't diet.

I enjoy going around the Powerplant Mall on weekends. A treat is always in store for me: the food stalls. AM used to call me "mini-dinosaur" because I eat all the time. I'm not picky when it comes to food, as long as its masarap, I'm willing to pay for it at any cost.

The food stalls offer  a wide array of pastries and goodies for those with sweet tooth. Made it difficult for me to decide what to buy since living alone entails fewer food stuff to store. I can't buy in large quantities, otherwise I'll end up eating them everyday!

I didn't buy anything from Empire Cheesecakes. It's too fancy and colorful. Not my type.

Cakes from Kitchen's Best

Miss Matamis cakes: double decadent cake, banana cream pie, carrot banana cake and apple rum cake.

Choco cake for only Php400

Anything chocolate from Casa Xocolat.

I tasted the tablea choco drink, yum yum.

I bought Brazo from Cukay's. Yum yum. For only Php50, sulit. Not too sweet, just perfect.

Melts in your mouth....

I'll try this chocolate cake next time....

Chocolate cookies of Russian Cookie House. Cute packaging.

If only I have a housemate, I would definitely have this:

Leche flan is my uber favorite.

Since I'm a bread person, I bought dinner rolls from Cakes & Bakes. The softest dinner roll I ever had! Highly recommended. Php70/pack. Also bought the ensaymada, for only Php35. Huge and so soft! Yum yum.

Did I just make your mouth water? hehehehe...

Catch these food stalls every weekend at the ground floor of the Powerplant Mall.
Hope to see you there!
