The Bar Exam is usually conducted in De La Salle University in all four Sundays of September. This year, the exam venue will be in University of Santo Tomas in November. The distribution of subjects per exam day had also been amended as follows:

First day: Political and International Law, and Labor and Social Legislation (morning) and Taxation (afternoon)

Second day: Civil Law (morning) and Mercantile Law (afternoon)

Third day: Remedial Law, and Legal Ethics and Forms (morning) and Criminal Law (afternoon)

Fourth day: Trial Memorandum (morning) and Legal Opinion (afternoon).

Starting this year, the coverage of the tests will be drawn up by topics and sub-topics rather than just stating the covered laws and that the tests will be in multiple-choice-questions (MCQ). There will also be essay-type, which will have 40% equivalent in the computation of an examinee's final grade.

Justice Roberto Abad is the Chairperson of the 2011 Committee on Bar Examinations.

P.S. 4th Place is highlighted as she is the sister of a good friend, Atty. Jojie Ancog. Galing!
